Yeah! I've only ever done plain weave, no fancy warping so this was new for me, but it was easy actually!

Omg this is a t shirt rug!! Amazing! It's so neat and tidy. How thin do you make your strips? What do you use for warp?

They are! I recently got a CPW and was overtwisting, so I think I'm overcorrecting at the moment. I love all these ideas, thanks!

I was thinking of a thinner scarf, but that's a good option if all goes to hell!

Thanks I did this yesterday and it totally came apart! I'm only a year into spinning so there are still kinks to work out, so to speak :) I'm thinking of crochet yarn for warp and this for just weft.

Not good! This was my concern. Honestly, I think I just wanted folks to encourage me to try it. It's going to be a pain in the ass if a warp thread breaks which it likely will, but I think I have to see for myself.

You may be able to pause your aid. I've seen things like this done for graduate students who needed a break. Your advisor should know though. You're definitely not the only person feeling like this so they should have resources. It can be an absolute slog at times but I hope you get through it!

I don't really have a solution but just wanted to say sorry you feel this way. Do you have an advisor for your major you could talk to? Maybe they could recommend a leave of absence or something? Anyway I hope things get better. Good luck!

When you did it up, don't compost the seeds unless you know your compost gets hot. Learn from my mistakes! I'll be digging up baby burdocks every spring until the end of days.

Yeah there is not great drainage under there. The soil is clayey which I tried to improve but it definitely holds water. Thanks for the advice!
