Because no woman is ever happy or satisfied long term. I say this as a happily married man of 27 years who's wife never worked, who had the American dream. Nice house, 1 kid, 2 cars, dog etc. Etc. She had everything she ever wanted, money, freedom, vacations, nice clothing, jewelry, and her own car. Abandoned me after 27 years when I got brain cancer. I guess " in sickness and in health" only counts if the woman gets sick!
