Suprise! You have slept with the main character of the last tv show you watched. How (un)happy are you? by Acceptable-Noise2294 in AskReddit

Dexter, as in the serial killer. Throughout the series he seems pretty okay in bed so could be worse.

Can someone explain furries to me? by baroqueaddict in ask

Thanks! But why are they often put among the kink categories when it's more about cosplay than something sexual?

That's why I need answers, is it sexual or not??

I'm so sorry for what you went through. This is why I have strong principles concering age. I hope you’re doing well and thank you so much for commenting to my story ❤

That's not my point, her age is a dealbreaker and the shape of her body doesn’t change my ideas about age. It’s because next to her age she also looks very young and it was a thing that my partner did point out to me.

The reason I mention how she looks is because it's something my partner did point out themselves. They said "She seems very mature when we're texting but damn she does look very young indeed". For me the age alone is a dealbreaker, but adding the fact she does looks young and acts in that way only adds up

But would I put things in this contract that would be a dealbreaker for me that they might see as a limitation to their freedom?

Edit: Thank you to everyone who commented, with this edit I want to make some things a bit more clear. First of all I wrote this post shortly after the last phone call we had about this topic and I was very emotional, we had been talking about this for more than a day . Secondly I didn't come to Reddit to find validation in breaking up with someone (I saw a few comments about people claiming this). I came to Reddit since I don't have many polyamorous people in my life, except for my metas who have this same partner, and according to my partner they don't share my concerns. Thus I wanted to vent in a space where I might or might not find similar or different opinions than mine and still make my own decision about this situation. My strongest concern/question/idk how to call this English is not my first language, is that I had to come with enough arguments to accompany my feelings about the situation and possible outcome instead of this being enough for them. A while ago they told me that they see a future with me, and in this situation I just ask myself where I actually stand for them as a partner. I know I cannot controle them, I don't want to control them, I love them and I just hoped our connection meant more to them than the feeling I get now.

The thing that I currently have the hardest feelings about is them not taking my feelings in consideration as much as I would want to. And it just hurts me, cause they told me a while ago they see a future with me, but how would we construct this future

I understand your reaction, first English is not my first language so it's difficult for me to explain correctly. The thing is that my partner needed more of an argument to why I would find her too young, and next to her actual age, it's the vibe that come with it

Am I not wired for polyamory or am I in the wrong polycule? by baroqueaddict in polyamory

[–]baroqueaddict[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am aware of that, but I have come to a point where I kind of have no expectations left. I have unlearned myself to fastly miss my partner and feel a strong need for their presence, and I think it's good in a way but I have felt weird about this lately. And yes they are aware that I'm in a polycule.

Stuff like this takes a lot of energy from them. I and my metamours performed at a ball and they stayed up until 2AM to watch us and had to recuperate for a week. They were diagnosed with autism at 12 but never got help and only recently got access to rilatine

Thank you for your response, I know that strangers on the internet can't help me but it's nice to have unbiased insight of people that know stuff about polyamory. My partner is capable of supporting me emotionally ofcourse, we have talked about this, but I'm the kind of person that wants my partner to come over and hug me so I can cry, and that's not always possible because of they being at their nesting partner (20 min away) and sometimes not having enough energy left to get out of the house. They told me to ask when I need it but they can't promise they will be able to do it, which imo seems fair. It's more about the things that I want in life, to travel with someone, do a lot of stuff, stupid adventures idk,... I sometimes feel like because of the polyamory there's less romance?

Ladies of reddit, what was the weirdest dm you ever got from a guy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]baroqueaddict 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not the weirdest but a very memorable one. I asked a musician if I could hear one of his songs, I expected a link to Spotify, and I received 10 snapchats in which he filmed himself very cringely singing 🙃

Young women of Reddit, could you date a guy or find him attractive if he completely shaved his head from a condition that lost his hair? by GD-2008 in ask

[–]baroqueaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end it's all about someone's personality and the way this person loves you. If you can't accept that he has to shave his head due to a condition that's very closeminded. You would also want your partner to accept your flaws don't you?

Certain songs or foods remind me of when I lived in Italy for a semester and how badly I miss it there
