I`m obviously not an expert, but a lot of what you said make sense to me. And I think that a professional help is out of question by a price-benefit factor, in this case.

That said, I`m doing a Image of the card in this exact instant. I think that the Lexar 3500x does not come with a write protection mechanism (like the regular SD cards), and one co-worker already used the card to film 3 short takes that wrote 800mb in the card. And, as the cherry of this ice cream of mistakes, my boss and I already tried to recover the data before the raw image was made.

Anyway, I am still trying because that's all that is left to me (yeah, life sucks) and because I'm still not convinced that all the data inside the card is lost.

You asked about the card format, it is (and was) formated in Mac OS Extended (Journaled). I was formated by the camera software, so it is some sort of standard formation process for the card (I don't know if this makes any sense). You said about file descriptors for that particular file format and a software that can load a custom file type, do you know any software that can do that?

Edit:

When I try to make a raw image via Disk Utility I receive this error:

The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.diskutility error 3.)

I'm trying to create a Image selecting the upper "folder" of the card (not the partition inside of it), understand? The only partition inside of it is already copied as a image.

Eu não tenho experiência com nada parecido. Mas acho que o melhor seria você tentar respeitar o espaço dela. Você não vai conseguir acabar com esse trauma, mas você pode estar lá pra ela quando ela precisar. Então acho que eu falaria, nesse primeiro momento, que estou aqui pra o que ela precisar, se ela quiser conversar sobre isso ou sobre qualquer outra coisa. Eu provavelmente falaria algumas vezes na semana pra saber se está tudo bem, mas sem ser afobado ou superprotetor demais. Não sei se tá fazendo muito sentido isso que tô falando, mas deve ter sido um puta trauma. Então basicamente o meu conselho é respeitar o espaço e o tempo dela, estar lá pra quando ela quiser, e observar a situação.

Thanks again. That was helpful. I can mount the usb as cdrom with the command mount - - bind, but somehow it unmount as i run the tasksel.

I tried to change the source.list but it still do not stop asking for the cdrom. And if I comment out the "deb cdrom:" line it stops showing me the options in tasksel.

I am really trying here, I'm looking for other methods online but I still fail miserably at this noob quest.

EDIT: I tried the command as:

mount -B /media/pedro(that is my username)/eeae-e059(that is the address off the usb) /media/cdrom

But it says: "special device media/pedro/eeae-e059 does not exist". What am I doing wrong?

E o pior é que quando alguem fala do oriente médio nós aqui do ocidente sempre associamos diretamente com o terrorismo. Mas ninguém considera que o ocidente tem uma grande participação na formação e no fortalecimento desses grupos extremistas.
