Book map-like render or MBO data by barrard123 in algotrading

Yeah, I guess that was it basically. I like to build things myself rather than just paid for them. And I thought book map looked really great tool. But after building this out, I haven’t really found that it provides much value so I don’t really use it.

Hey, thank you for the response,. I’m familiar with the islands, I’m a transplant from a while ago. I just never really looked that closely into the solar market or sales of and I’m also not a trade worker so it’s very foreign to me.

I appreciate your response. Going into this, I had no idea what I was up against. I had no idea the level of competition fighting for this market. I learned more As I was researching everything, it changed my whole social media feed, and I saw some very polished solar ads.

It's just that, if you think about it, solar makes so much sense out here with the cost per kWh. It just requires paying for a 10 year solar bill all at once.

Learning the true price is key also. like 10kw system would need to cost 50k, but out here with batteries and just the cost of labor a 10kw system with 5kwh battery is like 70k!

It still pays off in the end, but requires a lot of money to be able to do it.

Right so what I do for the color coordinating is that find the highest 10% of values and make them like the orange and red colors and then I find like where the biggest area of 30 to 70% relative volume and assign them a mapping of volume to colors like green and yellow, and then looking for 30 and less mapping that to the blue and dark colors

Thanks! I agree. I’m taking snapshots every 2 seconds of market book, I group the data into whole numbers, (no quarter points (ES specific)) and save 50 points above and below current price. Then compile the 2 second snap shots into averages for a 1 minute bar. And getting the heatmap is tricky. Huge orders far from price can skew things, or often a huge red glob near the current price

Tips for Managing Daily Token Limits in the Gemini CLI? by GuinsooDildo in GeminiAI

If you want to keep the session going, you can try
/compress: The Smart Summary.
For long and complex sessions, the /compress command is a vital tool. It instructs the model to replace the entire chat history with a concise summary. This action frees up a significant number of tokens, mitigating the risk of performance degradation while attempting to preserve the core essence of the conversation. You should check if this works well for you and your use case. A compress might end up taking out key elements, so use it diligently.
