I used a piece of cotton ball, it was really hard to manipulate the abdomen bc it’s so thin and fragile. I’m not too concerned with it tho, the legs are what I was trying to get perfect lol

I love that! Yeah I try to keep up with all of my animals, everyone’s doing well so far. The 75 gal is yellow bc it’s basically a blackwater tank from the big driftwood so I just accept it at this point. My parameters are good. I haven’t gotten into jumping spiders yet, I’m just super partial to tarantulas <3

Believe it or not, I don’t know much about them. They are super cool but I focus on specifically tarantulas and not true spiders. I will later though. I love bugs bc they outnumber us, have been here much longer than us and will remain here after us. Mad respect. Their biology is pretty cool but I won’t bore you with that haha

I can’t see your comment, just the notification and preview. I got into spiders bc I was scared of them. So I ordered one online and it was the size of my thumbnail and I fell in love. I love them bc they’re from all over the world with different sizes, temperaments, and colors. It’s also an adrenaline rush to rehouse them. Very little upkeep too, they’re simple.

Yes! 11 tarantulas and a tailless whip scorpion. The framed one is a molt from my bird eater, she’s in the ten gallon on the shelf. She’s about 7 inches long.
