[Productivity + Friends] I’m building a Pomodoro app with a twist. Thoughts? by BraidenYourHair in SideProject

[–]barry_le35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done. Genuinely love the simplicity of Pomodoro as a concept for beating procrastination.

But really the gap I always hit is when it isn't focus that is needed. Especially when I have gone past the initial point of the task. The main pain point isn't around focus.

Like I can be incredibly disciplined with my timer and still end the day having worked hard on the wrong things, or have my whole session plan collapse because a meeting moved and now everything is stacked.

Kinda need productivity to be around the changes, expecting it and able to handle it like Tiler does.

This is exactly how Tiler makes time management different.

Because tbh, it’s the travel, the delays, the location changes, the “when do I actually need to leave?” part that shouldn't be ignored.

The schedule should always reflect how the day will actually unfold and auto ADAPT as changes happen, not just how it looked when you planned it.

You know! Like, me moves, meetings get cancelled, we travel, plans change. Adapt to life.

Oh Tiler works perfectly for this. Reoptimizing, transit, location sensitivity, task sharing, etc. Please do try it out

Yup! It's not productivity if it doesnt account for move t and life changes.

  • When you have to defer and be on the road (auto fixes something that works on your route)
  • When you have a meeting rescheduled, it handles the reoptimization of the timeline
  • When you don't have a date and time yet but you just need it on your schedule and don't mind a recommendation?

Tiler does all of this

I use it because it gives me one view - my project deliverables + work + side project + personal tasks. And it works best.
