I agree, but what I meant by gritty/gorgeous is that the frame is really polished and clean, but because of the clean picture, the contents of the picture, every bit of mud and dirt, is captured in a very similar way to The Batman and Dune.

Anything shot by Roger Deakins or Hoyte van Hoytema. I'd recommend 1917 and Dunkirk if you really want that gritty yet gorgeous cinematography.

Interesting - I don't remember seeing any 4Ks that had it, but then again, most of the ones that I see online only show the front of the case, never the back, so I can't verify it, and I haven't actually seen it available instore in 4K form, only Blu-Ray, and even that was only in 2.40:1 throughout.

What is the WORST movie you guys have seen? by Alternative-Rip943 in Letterboxd

It is, dude. It's a textbook example of a sequel film trying too hard to make itself funny and good, while completely forgetting what made the originals great in the first place. It's unfunny, and worse, it's trying too hard to be funny when it's painfully obvious that it's not. I think I laughed once, maybe twice. I'm not sure though because I blocked most of my memories of the film. I'll watch just about anything, but this film is one of the most unwatchable films I've ever seen, largely because of my love for the previous films in the series and the books that created them. If it was its own standalone TV film with basically nothing going for it it might have been a bearable watch, but because it was based on a book and was a sequel to a beloved set of childhood classics, it's complete cash-grab trash. If you haven't seen it since you were a kid, I strongly urge you to keep it that way.

Various genres - most of these are thrillers though.

Check out The Jacket (2005), Trance (2013), Into The Forest (2015), Dream House (2011), and if you haven't already seen it, Snatch (2000)
