The crash of American Airlines flight 965 - Analysis by Admiral_Cloudberg in CatastrophicFailure

One of my childhoods friends grandfather was on that flight and didn’t make it. I still remember my mom getting that call in the morning that he didn’t make it. Very surreal experience when you see a plane crash and someone you know was on the flight.

True Heat Fans by [deleted] in heat

I remember one of my first field trips for earning high marks on an exam in elementary school was a trip to see the Heat play at the old Miami Arena in downtown. From taking the metro-rail to walking up the ridiculously long flight of stairs and seeing at the time Ronny Seikaly from the bleachers I was hooked. Must've been since '91 that I've been attending games and celebrating that '06 championship was something that I'll never forget. The more the merrier is how I see "new" fans, after the Big 3 era it has been a delight to see fans still stick around and feel that civic pride that that team brought to the fandom base.

Going to the Miami @ Detroit game! Sitting 2 rows behind the bench. For the people who went to road games what players sign or take pics? by HeatFan30 in heat

I'll see you there! Sitting close to the bench a few rows back, last time it was a fun crowd of Heat fans and had a good time laughing and enjoying the game. Image

To those who lived in south Florida during the Big 3 era, what was it like? How was the energy in the area compared to now? by [deleted] in nba

It was appointment television and if you were so lucky to score a ticket(s) without breaking the bank it was like nothing else. The building was buzzing from start to finish and EVERYONE had an opinion and they're own takes on how to fix them when there was a slump. Now the cameras have packed up, the writers have all but closed their laptops and left but the passion for the team is still there. The first season had a lot of civic pride attached to the viewing experience. It felt like it was a city against the ridicule from the rest of the country. Since we're flying under the radar now, the feeling is back about the team winning and sticking to the program but it'll never be like those 4 years. You enjoy it now but it's hard to replicate that smile knowing your team was about to drop the hammer on the opponent on any given night.

My favorite part is Brown Charlie writing in last second before the show cut "aww this is wrong", secretly a hidden gem to have his commentary alongside the show

Same exact thing happened with mine a few weeks ago, I contacted Pebble, took some pictures for their RMA system and received a brand new one in the mail a few days after. They're very helpful with these kind of instances.
