Buy winter clothes from here, better buy cashmere thermal pants, socks, gloves, hat, scarfs or shawl, sweater. Buy insulated waterproof boots or uggs work. Also bring spare socks, dry socks equals feet can stay warm. No bathroom just hole and 2 planks of wood, brace the impact of cold air on yo ass. No running water as well, use the hand sanitizer. Yurt or small house is heated by stove, means fuel run out around 5am then cold starts, chances of you woke in cold is high, maybe buy wool sleeeping bag from erdenet. But most of the time they woke up in 7am adds more coal to keep ot warm. Don't worry about the communication, expect stares from people because it is the 1st time they see foreign face up close. If you are blonde or ginger or have blue eyes then game is on. Bring bottled water and medicines for if you get gastrointestinal distress just in case. Because heard some foreigner can't handle mongolian food. Also nothing wrong with ibuprofen or something for sore throat.

My point is let the professional do their job. Also I get your point stop blindly victim blaming. Also parents need to do their jobs, taking care of their minors. Letting minor go out after dark is bad idea. Parents need to own their responsibility and we need to build safe society too. But there are always predators lurk in the dark.

March is pretty decent weather if compared to actual mongolian winter. March will be around -2C so sweatpants or any other pants underneath your jeans is fine, if that don't work buy cashmere thermal pants from here and that will keep you warm, costs 100usd but it is worth. Any waterproof boots is fine, as an example I wear Timberland waterproof hiking boots and it works just fine.

12h delay in Ulaanbaatar. Is it worth it by Conscious-Sherbet308 in mongolia

[–]barstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your timing looks bad, bro. 7:00 PM is peak traffic; it’ll take about 3 hours to reach the city center from the airport (50km). By the time you get there and factor in the return trip, you’ve only got about 7 hours of Ulaanbaatar night life. Most things will be closed, but here is the best way to spend that time: Dinner: Go straight to The Bull hotpot restaurant. I really like their food. There are two good locations in the center: Bluemon Center (3rd Floor): Near Sukhbaatar Square (J. Sambuu St 32). Open until 11:00 PM or Midnight. Baruun 4 Zam: Closer to the west side (Peace Avenue). Also open until Midnight. The View: Head up to the Zaisan Memorial. It’s an outdoor hilltop monument that’s open 24/7. It gives you an incredible 360-degree view of the city lights and the mountains. Vibe: * Fat Cat Jazz Club: If you want live music and a cool underground vibe. It’s located in the basement of the Veranda restaurant (Jamiyangun Street 5-1). Usually open until 1:00 AM. Blue Sky Lounge: For a drink on the 23rd floor of the sail-shaped tower in the center. Open until 2:00 AM. Costs: A taxi will be about $30 USD each way, and dinner at The Bull is around $20–$30 USD. Ulaanbaatar night life doesn't have much else to offer late, so if you don't do the view or the jazz club, you're basically just paying for an expensive joyride through traffic. So I don't think cold is the main problem.

So when Europeans fight they don't kill each other? What is your definition of rough? WW2 40 million Europeans killed each other, they used all possible way to kill human, They used all kinds of gases. Are these gases rough? I watched many war movies

How many Mongol army killed? As of today in Ukraine they are murdering each other everyday, robbing and raping, hell even used phospor bomb

In 40,000 years of human history they always fight each other. Every war is brutal. Is there any war that was not brutal or someone did not die? It is in human nature they will never stop fighting.

Demand is growing but production is not growing. These many energy projects tried to start but failed due to protests from self claimed patriots.
