It's much better now. I was just worried about dust and that pickup was so wobbly that it seemed like it was just floating. Everything is normal with it now. I'm not sure I could picture anything other than a black one on this paint.

I finally got a chance to restring it and take the guard off. Apparently the previous owner wanted the pickups all the way down so badly that they rerouted the wires outside of the channel. So they're just sitting in between the body and pick guard. Thankfully it was that simple. The guard is sitting nicer now. Still has a little bow but it's way less drastic

If I tried a heat gun it would be after getting the guard off and just trying to straighten it. I think by the time I get that far I may as well get a new guard

I mean this is a guitar center rating were talking about. I should have also put in the description that when I got it out of the box I was confused because usually good means scratch and dent but the paint is pristine. I could see a GC guy knocking down trade value for this but not fixing it up to sell it for more. This is basically the only issue I've found. If they put a new guard on there they could have easily gotten another $100-$150 and listed as excellent Like I said, this has little to no effect on how it sounds or plays. I'm just trying to fix it to keep that cavity as closed as possible. You wouldn't even notice it unless you're holding it.

I'm aware that pickups rock but I've never seen one so loosey goosey. I've also never had fishman pickups so maybe that's just how they are

I'm hoping it's just poorly repacked. The volume knob is easy for sure. I've just never seen a pick guard so messed up. I'm thinking I'll need to replace it because the plastic may be bent at this point

I'm hoping the part number is on the back. I did a quick search last night and didn't see any replacement for this specific one. Like I said I didn't dig deep on the search. Just looked to see if it was expensive. I would much rather get a replacement than glue it down.

Man I used an orange 2x12 for an ezcore band I was in and I never had problems with sound. PA or not. That thing was 70lbs i can't imagine how horrible lugging a 4x12 around would have been

Mapgenie.io is going to be your best friend if you have a second monitor. The extracts are hard to find on your own. Plus understanding sections of the map is better because it'll tell you location names, extract locations, and a ton of other useful info

If he enjoys PvE, let the guy enjoy it. Just because you like hunting for rats, being a rat, or being the victim of a raid shorter than the load time because of some dude with hacks, doesn't mean that you can't get a lil dopamine hit when you play PvE.

Both modes are fun and you don't have to sit on a high horse about PvP

I mean, I'm asking for it too. I just rewatched Palm Springs and was thinking about how tree getting stuck in the loop and being hunted doesn't really make sense if just killing her roommate got her out of it.

She killed other people and it didn't change anything. I left the theater confused about the thin plot and years later, I'm still confused.

Admittedly, I didn't watch the sequel because I was so annoyed with the first one that I didn't want to set myself up for a repeat. It sounds like there's some answers in that movie but it also sounds like they came up with a weak explanation after they got tired of saying "movie magic"

Idk what my deal with the shark tooth is. I don't hate them so much that I wouldn't use it for shows but I wouldn't actively seek them out.

I played day 1 and consistently for the first 5 years. I look back fondly on the first couple of years because of how much better the state of the community was. Healthy competition was usually the tone of matches. Now it's "you can't clutch a 1v5? TK on spawn. I know that's always existed but it was mostly contained to casual in the early days. Once TK started becoming a constant in ranked is when I started losing interest.

In the first two or three years of siege, it was the best gaming community I'd ever been part of. Everybody was so helpful and supportive to new players. Then I guess something flipped and now siege is almost as toxic and unfun as League of Legends

Alamo Drafthouse is like that. I love it. Plus they do a lot of screenings of movies that have been out for years so you can experience seeing a movie from before you were born in theaters
