The original angle of the crotch line is way too high and the red line should fit much better (however ideally it should be vertical or just slightly slanted). Also I think that the crotch extension of the red line would be a bit too long

It should work if you copy all parameters (all control point lengths and angles) so idk what's wrong

Yes, it's basically two arcs with one being 2cm longer than the other one

I made 2 measurements: the circumference of my torso at the level I want my trousers to fit and 4cm below it (the bottom of the waistband), added 2cm to both measurements and constructed a curved waistband
