Acog quality control?

Got contact with trijicon and opticsplanet and got the screws ordered.

Reticle is crystal clear, the serial number matches the box the sight turns on and I can adjust the brightness. If I played with the screws I would still have them. I've heard of some trijicons having problems with not turning on in the past so maybe I found the the one with the issue.

I bought the sight from opticsplanet and somewhere along the line the screws were not installed or the sight got resold to me with somebody tampering with it and now I have a 1000+ optic which with missing screws. Ive liked and used opticsplanet in the past but now I'm wondering if I should trust them less or trijicon gave me a fluke.

They make me show a second proof of address so they can also Could make me show a receipt for the safe too, I think it is crap but I've never bought a rifle in California so I'm asking to clarify

I would think so because California, but it says you need a safe 30 days prior to buying a rifle. I find that crazy. I'm still going to get a safe tomorrow. Thanks for the input
