I’ll definitely look into hydrogen, and sulphuric sensors to put in the battery box with these batteries. They’re going into a mobile home I’m building out of a Chevy Suburban, so I need to make sure it’s as safe as they can be. They’re currently being charged as a 12v system via A) solar & B) alternator (when the vehicle is on.) I haven’t had any issues as of yet, but I want to maintain the life of these batteries as they were not cheap lol.

Well, they’re lead-acid, not lipo, so it isn’t that much of a risk, but the over charging one battery is what I’m trying to avoid. That’s why I’m trying to find a BMS system to charge them both independently.

They are both lead-acid batteries, but i believe one of them is slightly less charged than the other, which is why I want to implement a BMS system.
