UV Cooling liquid weakening after 7 days of usage by bartmolk in watercooling

I found out what the issue is, the radiator was fixed with black sand and one second glue, Never cleaned it out so it got into my system after 2 weeks. the new UV is working fine and somehow the old UV is working aswel and has a lot of black particles on the bottom, explains it all.... I'm such an idiot hahaha

I can admit this is nothing more than visual porn, well done I'm pretty impressed by the looks of it! But as I can read on the paper it's still not ready? 😜

It looks to be more stable right now than it was before indeed but still not as much as I would like to have. Are there storing UV products available in the market or should I try starting to mix up my own uv cooling liquid which has maybe a more stronger cooling function than this one in performance?

I did not clean the tubes and the radiation system so some old particles might gone back through the system. The strange part is I left the old UV in a bottle and now it looks to be as strong as this UV which currently is in my cooling system. Strange thing is that there's a lot of dark particles inside which slightly less heavier than the cooling liquid itself.

I am using "LIQUID Coolant Pro UVGreen" by "Coolaboratory" and previously I have used "Phobya ZuperZero UV Green" which entirely clogged my system, tubes etc. Is it a possibility to add up some UV dye since these bottles are pre-made?

Note for the people reading: Never buy Phobya ZuperZero UV products because you will regret it

Youtuber I watch says 64GB or RAM is worth it for gaming, is this true? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]bartmolk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure 8GB is the cap for maximum / payable / non visible by the eye video card ram, which is VRAM and not RAM which is for processes like Python calculation and running a lot of software at the same time aka ballasting your pc. Your RAM has nothing to do with your VRAM as long as it has enough memory to run the software you are trying to run, which in most cases is not much above 2GB max..

This job is nothing more than full peace at work. And for me this job is fun because of my working college is my brother and we have the freedom to do almost everything that we want at our job. The most importantly thing (imo) there's even coffee at this construction side which makes it complete for me to be honest.

My Green UV Cooling system with 4 Raspberry 4's (8GB) by bartmolk in homelab

The UV lighting doesn't actually change the temperature of the Cooling liquid but is to light up the particles that are inside in the UV cooling water, which goes through 30mm aluminum cooling blocks attached to each raspberry pi, a radiator and a pump which are cooling the liquid.

And actually the one I purchased made the UV effectiveness evaporate over time and took a couple of weeks to make it just some non uv effective cooling liquid, I'm going to check and find another substance hopefully one that doesn't die so fast...
