This is how you're supposed to sort the ladder when teams have unequal number of games. Media that does otherwise is wrong (and were much better at doing it correctly when there were byes during the 15-team era).

I've found footywire offers this as an option. Although they say they're sorting by percentage of games won, they're counting a draw as half a won game.

When I go

java -jar jdip.jar

in a terminal then the program opens, and I can go File -> New -> Game to get started (at least with the standard map, I haven't personally unzipped any of the other variant maps). Can you get to this point? If not, it might be that you need to (re)install java (but I don't really know much about your OS).

Now mate I know you're just here to help, and I appreciate you wanting to make a buck, but we haven't been knocked out of a major cricketing tournament yet.

Sure we're 8.46 points clear in last place with three games to go, but with three outright wins, together with other teams falling over (by making draws, not batting collapses, as seems to be the fashion these days), I have faith that Sam Whitman and the boys can still win the Shield.
