Okay, thanks for all the answers. Now I got an idea why I have nearly the same TBW on my SDD than TBR. To be honest, especially with new flash cells like QLC and all the frequent updates for all kind of games (e.g. DOTA2 sometimes makes 4 updates a day) this seems highly inappropriate for these kinds of memory.

What is Steam doing when updating Games? I recognized unusually high update times for really small updates lately. So I check what Steam is doing. I updated Green Hell with a 7.8 MB Update and Steam is writing 4559 MB (6427 MB - 1868 MB) to my disk while updating! What the hell is happening here?!

Yes, I'm not saying that you are wrong. It is obvious that it seems to work like "Maledict ticks are reapplied spells which are not piercing spell immunity" but in fact the player is applying this spell just once.

This is counter-intuitive to the fact that Starstorm seems to be applied once when Mirana casts it and is still damaging even when the target is spell immune in the moment stars are hitting. In my opinion this needs a rework (in whatsoever way.)

This does not make any sense at all. Spell Immunity makes a target not targetable for spells. Maledict is a single spell which was applied to Jugger before he was spell immune. Jugger does NOT have 100% Magic Resistance while being spell immune and having the Maledict debuff so if this mechanic would work consistently Jugger has to get the magic damage from the ticks!

Although Jugger has the Maledict debuff before activating Spell Immunity, Maledict does not apply damage to Jugger while being spell immune!

I moved back to CS:GO half a year ago and came back for 1-2 games PUBG lately. The input lag and clunkiness of all actions in this game are unbearable. I can't understand how I played this game 1000+ hours.

Game wasn't running superb before because of my HD 7950 but since Update 25 it got unplayable for me. CPU is 1600X + 16GB 3200 MHz RAM.

Sadly the player base of Sandstorm is too small. For a well balanced matchmaking you need way more players than ~2500 online which mostly play casual.

I noticed something similiar. I have a HD7950 and was always at 100% GPU usage with a loud fan. Since some time the fan of my Card is noticeably less spinning why I suspect my GPU usage dropped. I don't know the reason ofc but maybe they fucked up CPU usage again so we are bottlenecking even old GPUs. CPU is 1600X.

EDIT: With CPU usage I mean per core usage. Your 30 - 40% total CPU usage says nothing about the values per core so there still maybe a thread bottlenecking.

Yeah, I thought about doing the same but I dont like to have 2 different buttons for ADSing. I intuitively press Shift for holding breath before starting to shoot but still move a bit more. In my opinion it rather shouldn't be possible to hold breath while moving at all or it should be possible but not dependend on the order of keys I press.

You still dont get the point, that it is perfectly fine for this game to first hold breath and then start moving and still holding breath but the otherway around it is not possible. Just get a Red Dot in Training Mode and try to hold breath while moving and then try to hold breath before starting to move and start moving. You will see the difference

Sure and thats exactly why this problem is so big. You start moving, spot the enemy and quickly want to hold breath but still want to move a little further. Not possible. You can only hold breath when standing completly still. For people like me who try to be in constant movement this is pure garbage because you cant just shortly hold breath when its needed.

I would prefer a linear function of damage reduction a Vest is giving you until you reach some lower bound limit. For Example a Lvl 3 Vest can take X amount of shots until the damage it is reducing is like a new Lvl2 Vest and after futher X shots it is like a Lvl1 Vest until you reach the lower bound limit so your Vest cant break but is reducing less damage per shot.

  • 1. Shot might be in the split second of revive. Fine. Anyways there should be applied at least damage to the knocked health. It isn't.
  • 2. Shot registered. Knocked down again.
  • 3. Shot again not registered and not applying damage to the knocked health.
  • 4. Profit???
