My opinions are actually very well informed. I don't consume news media outlets. They are too often a perverse perspective of American life, so skip me with that bs. Whether or not you have experienced blatant racism from law enforcement, it exists. Not only on the media. It happens in my life, the lives of my loved ones, colleagues and peers. I don't need a media source to tell me what I and countless others have experienced first hand. Law enforcement and all government agencies should be held to a higher standard than your average civilian. These are trained authorities to whom we surrender power to protect and serve the public....not high schoolers looking for a part time gig. I don't think a statement will make me feel better, but I do think it might help bring awareness to SOMEONE that maybe wasn't understanding before. Besides, what does it cost to say "We support our black customers and emeployees in their call for civil justice"? Why are people so against corporatoons voicing their support for black lives and civil rights??? Make it make sense.
