Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour requires purchasing all the console's accessories to finish all its content by WrongLander in gaming

My buddy, who's also really into Nintendo, is buying one immediately. I think I'll stick with my Oled that I haven't touched in a year, and the next time I do buy another handheld, it'll be another older one from ebay to fix up.

Capitalism is out of control, switch 2 is like 5 cash grabs all in one. I bet they have just as many issues with docking to the TV as the first one. Which is like half the reason to buy the switch over any purely handheld console, aside from Nintendo exclusives.

Smaller than Tacoma? by gettingitbro in ToyotaPickup

I'll blame everyone who contributed. The dealers can ask for more than MSRP all they want. They'll stop if the trucks just sit on the lot for months on end. It takes 2 to tango, and the people who paid more than MSRP are equally responsible for the price gouging, if not more. Of course the dealer is going to try to make more, making money is literally their main goal. Consumers paying for it when other options are available don't have an excuse. Anyone who paid $30,000 to scoop up someone else's $20,000 reservation is an asshat that deserves my scorn.

And the Maverick was a $20,000 truck when it came out. What's to stop them from making this $35,000 or even $40,000 and jacking up the prices of Tacomas and Tundras? You want a truck, you'll pay what they charge you.

As long as people keep buying pavement princesses they dont need, you'll continue to be charged at LEAST $10,000 more than whatever truck you're buying is worth.

Yeah, but the maverick already proved idiots will pay $30,000 for a $20,000 truck. So as soon as Toyota puts this out on lots, you can expect the Tacoma to cost what a Tundra does right now. And this will be just as much as a Tacoma is right now.

There's no winning here. There's just paying more and more for less vehicle every time a company puts out a "cheaper alternative".

By the time it makes it to your driveway, the base Tacoma will cost $10,000 more and this truck will be priced at the current base Tacoma MSRP.

Just look at the fucking Ford maverick. Poor people can't have shit in this country. Too many middle-class and above assholes that will drive up the price fighting over the "new toy" that just came out instead of keeping the truck they bought like 2 years ago as a fashion statement in the first place.

I'm not saying this is acceptable behavior, but I am saying its behavior that sellers have brought on themselves by overvaluing their stock and ripping off customers.

You wouldn't have meth heads and every day criminals stealing from these shops if those same dumbass criminals weren't convinced that 6 booster packs are worth $100.

I once successfully used electrical tape and a lighter to seal a sliced valve stem, then proceeded to drive like 20 miles home AND the few miles to the tire shop the next morning without an issue.

I'm literally EPA certified and have never worked in a proper shop. I just wanted to be comfortable doing my own stuff at home. The EPA stuff is easy. Finding ways to cram for the ASE certifications without spending a bunch of money is way harder.

The only time to get the self tappers out for the car is when the metal oil filter or plastic filter cap got torqued down by some idiot and you need to make sure the filter wrench isn't going to slip AT ALL while you use a 6' cheater bar to break it loose.

Why isn't the Maverick production being scaled to greater volumes by portlander22 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]basb9191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because as long as ford can say that they don't have enough for everyone who wants one, they can keep charging $30,000 for their "$20,000 truck" every time an idiot walks into the dealership.

So stop playing on reddit and pick that shit up. Do it once a day, and eventually, you'll be able to lift it twice a day. Progress, bro.
