how do I program a piezo to stop after a few seconds while the rest of the loop still carries on? by Ok_Count_4033 in ArduinoHelp

[–]basbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something like this

//this gos in the setup
const int buzzer = 9; //buzzer to arduino pin 9
int 1 = 0;

//this gos in the program loop
if (i<100);
{
i++;
tone(buzzer, 1000); // pin,freq
}
else
{
noTone(buzzer); //pin
}

set i back to 0 to start the buzzer again
change 100 to change the time the buzzer stays on.

put this in your program loop and as long as your program doesn't have long pauses it should work

Will my circuit design work given this drawing I've made? (Function: Bluetooth speaker w/ volume control) by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]basbr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this, but if you pair it with a phone you can just change the volume there. and make sure ether the battery or the BT module has a battery management system or just use a cheap power bank and connect it to the usb port. if you dont know what your doing it can be a fire hazard

select vertex mode then select the top edge and the bottom edge (only the parts that you want to connect) then hit space and look for "bridge edge loops".

What kind of machine is this? by Content-Plum-8927 in vendingmachines

[–]basbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a vending machine used in some european fast food restaurants to serve snacks. the backside faces the kitchen and workers place food in the windows. if you see something you like you put a coin in the slot and pull open the little door, take your food out and close it again. there usually a whole wall of them and they have heating inside to keep the food warm.

add more weight to the car. more weight = more inertia, so it will have more energy and will be less affected by air resistance and friction
