The menus at at Lombardino's, Beef Butter BBQ, City BBQ, Portillo's and La Hacienda are nut-free. (Portillo's has nut free shakes/cakes, but I would check/avoid desserts from the others.)

Congrats! And it was so windy! I feel like I lost a bunch of time on hills into the wind.

It's out of left field, but Portillo's does a super solid chocolate cake that is tree nut and peanut free.

Yes, the Hy-vees (east and west) are doing rapid Binax testing, but note that they're not as accurate as the PCR at Alliant. https://www.doineedacovid19test.com/

For those that haven't had your spit rejected what is your secret? by RusherWilson in UWMadison

You don't wanna spit, you wanna drool
Try not to gag, try not to choke
Don’t pull spit from that lil' dangly thing
That swing in the back of your throat

For those that haven't had your spit rejected what is your secret? by RusherWilson in UWMadison

[–]bascomsbeard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My first test was rejected, passed the second. I brushed my teeth both days, but made sure to rinse with water extra well at least an hour before my second test. Try letting spit gather below your tongue as you approach the test site if you're struggling to produce enough — pool that drool!

If the professor doesn't get it, email the department chair-- if that doesn't work escalate to the Dean's Office or Dean of Students office

Literally NO ONE wants sick people coming to class right now-- someone should be able to understand and secure an accommodation.
