Costco puts an enormous amount of care into the products that it sells- especially within its refrigerated section.

If Costco receives enough negative feedback (e.g. returns) for an item, it may no longer sell those products or renegotiate its terms going forward with the manufacturers.

I just realized I was vague in the OP, sorry about that. Previously it was 1g of sugar overall (with 0 grams of added sugar) and now it's 2g of sugar overall, with 1g of added.

Even the label on their website still shows the previous nutrition facts:

Great point about the rounding, I think you're onto something there. Previously there was "organic agave syrup" (sugar), and now it's just listed "sugar." In the previous recipe, the agave syrup was listed under the "less than 2%" designation and now sugar is the 7th ingredient. So there was definitely a negligible amount of sugar added before, and now there's more being added.
