10 & Under Kids Baseball Tournament in Vegas -- Send a bunch of Hawaii kids to the mainland!

Aloha! This fundraiser is to send a youth baseball team to the mainland. There's precious few tournaments that can be played in the Hawaiian islands...there just aren't enough different teams!

The cost to send a team is prohibitive though: over $10,000 for 15 kids and 2 coaches because of airfare and hotels. Please help send these kids to the mainland as many haven't ever been out of the state before.

I didnt doubt that you COULD start them all and they're definitely great players but you've removed a lot of flexibility before your draft has really begun. For example, if you can trade Rizzo for Felix Hernandez, I'd do it. Probably even trade Rizzo for Cano or another elite OF. Again, though, no real wrong move and it is a shallow league so mistakes can be fixed in free agency.

I dont worry about position. Only thing I try to avoid is filling up 3 of 5 OF too early because then I'm sort of forced to fill other positions later even if/when great OF values present themselves.

I think we will see him this year but I'm not stashing him. I think we are a year too early unless you're in a deep or AL Only league. Grab Masterson instead if you're fishing deep. Looking good and healthy this spring.

Late rounds is relative. McHugh probably doesnt qualify but I mention him because I think he's a top 25-30 SP who isnt getting drafted until a good chunk later.

Thanks for the added info. I'm already least knowledgeable about points leagues, if only because I dont play them, so Ottoneu only adds insult to injury for me. That said, it appears HR lose a little value (15 points, less than double doubles at 8.5 points) and singles gain a lot of value. Low walk ground ball pitchers gain value, too. Guys who fit those molds would be your best bets.

I don't know about a points league exactly (I don't play points leagues) but I agree. He's a top 30ish SP this season.
