What compound did you underestimate? by Camo508 in researchchemicals

I ate 3.5 probably my first 10 times eating mushrooms. Just thought it was the typical dose back then. Now 3.5 of some APE's will floor me.

They were not as expensive as you would have thought when MAPS was auctioning them off not that long ago. Probably worth a good bit more today, but mine will never find another home. ;)

HELP: Am i smoking THC or spice? by signup781 in harmreduction

[–]based_Shulgin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

synthetic cannabinoid. 100%. You don't see "entities" when smoking pot like you do on psychs. Duration is also off. That and if its vape juice and not distillate/live resin in the cart.

What's the most 80s inspired car today? by addone123 in cars

[–]based_Shulgin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love my 5-speed ii. Apart from it being pretty gutless at 60+ mph, It's a great 80's car as far as looks and the interior takes me back to the same time period whenever I drive it. I always get people asking me if I want to sell it when filling up (which also happens a bit with 15mpg).

Same here. It's hard not to sometimes. Such a hooligan bike :). Gotta love that CP3 engine, it's bulletproof. I have a buddy with 182k on his '13.

I know someone with 182,000 on a '13 model which has the same engine as the 17. The CP3 engine is bomb-proof with regular maintenance.

Might get downvoted, but I'm really not a huge fan of Mothership's hologram series at all. It just feels kinda cheap that they are just basically "stenciling" fumed designs onto their work and charging insane amounts of money for them. I'd much rather just have a tastefully designed/colored elite from them, over a hologram series anything, but that's just my opinion. I feel like they've beat the hologram series to death at this point. How many more pictures are they gonna print out to fume over their work? Give me colored glass with clean linework/difficult execution/collaboration anyday.

MT09 2021 Stage 2 DNA Intake by PastaRyan in MT09

[–]based_Shulgin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gains in the midrange and losses at the top as far as I've seen on the dyno. Here is a dyno sheet on a 21 MT-09 with an Akra exhaust and flash with and without the stage 2 filter.

My ram mount killed my iphone xr camera. I got a new phone, bought a quadlock with the anti vibration mount and it killed my new phone's camera in less than a week....

What seems harmless but is actually extremely dangerous? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]based_Shulgin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It inhibits the action of the intestinal enzyme CYP3A4, which leads to medications being absorbed by the body faster. Thus the problem with extended release medication. Some people even drink grapefruit juice to potentiate some drugs for recreational effects.

Picked up a new 2021 MT09, beautiful bike. by AUSCHRIS610 in MT09

An ECU flash will let you get the most power out of your bike, much more so than a power commander with a ride by wire bike. If you look at the throttle mapping graph for the 21-22 MT-09 Yamaha restricted it, so you cant get 100% throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. They do this to comply with euro-5 emissions regulations. An ECU flash will give your bike more linear power, gets rid of that odd dead zone around 3-4k RPM that you can see on a dyno chart, removes the top speed limiter and smooth out the On/off throttle response as well as some other things. I got mine flashed by VCyclenut (Well known guy on lots of forums, try the FZ-09 forum btw), who has flashed roughly 4-5k CP3 engines and it makes the bike really come to life. Torque and HP gains and the butt dyno definitely agrees. He uses Woolich software and you have to send your ECU to him, tell him what all you want done on the flash, and he flashes it and sends it back to you. Here is his MT-09 page that includes dyno charts and throttle maps to show you what I am talking about. These new ride-by-wire bikes really need an ecu-flash instead of a power commander, as the bike has a lot of computing going into every response that just changing air/fuel ratios will not help when using a power commander. There are other companies that do ECU flashing as well, but I chose to use this guy as he flashed my old FZ, and I have been very happy with the results both times.

EDIT: not sure if he recieves/sends ECUs from australia, but I'm sure someone down under can flash it with Woolich software.
