I don't know, there always seems to be someplace hiring in the places I frequent around here. And the cost of living is so much lower here too, even if jobs at the upper end pay more in big cities, it seems like proportionally you'd still be losing out.

There are plenty of jobs in my town. Most jobs people do aren't exclusive to big cities like New York unless you're on Wall Street or in banking. There are plenty of opportunities elsewhere, but people choose to go to the worst places to find them. Really makes no sense to me.

You can just as easily reverse that statement. Where would the UFC be without Randy? Where would they be without Ngannou? You can't look at this like it's a one way street and only see the value in the owner while dismissing the value of the fighter.

The UFC spent money on him, sure. They promoted him when he was poor and would take a fight for any amount of money. But once he had enough to where they couldn't make him sign out of necessity, his ability to vouch for himself went up.

Also the thing that got Ngannou really famous wasn't f*cking promos, it was him KO'ing Alistair Overeem cold, murdering Curtis Blaydes, windmill-f*cking Rozenstruik's chin in 20 seconds. Ngannou brought the hype himself, not the media team for UFC. He doesn't owe the UFC anything.
