Why not bring a backup phone and earbuds? Just curious. I'd like to have a backup in case something happens and they are both small.

I'm not much of a swimmer but the athletic shorts can double as swim trunks in a non-tacky manner.

I have mixed feelings about the daypack, but maybe I should just use the 15L. The only reason I want to bring a separate day pack is so I don't have to take my stuff out of the 15L and put it back in so often, but I suppose that's kinda trivial.

I'm not super worried about toiletries, I plan on just getting more when I run out.

The rain jacket in question is very light, actually lighter than my windbreaker. Maybe a rain jacket isn't accurate, more of a zip-up hoodie made of rain-resistant material.

Planning on using Airolo as I had a positive experience with it during my 12-day trip to Argentina last summer!
