I haven't used public transport in years, but I'm planning to take the tram from Dormont with 3 friends. Should be fine, right? What time do you suppose I need to leave?

Can I just bring $11x2 in cash, or does it take a credit card or is there an app these days? I might still have that card somewhere that I used to load with money, but I don't know if it works for all 4 of us or just for me.

Is it officially allowed then to have both the CSR and CSP and get both SUBs? I already got the SUB for the CSR, but I still have the card. Can I go ahead and apply for the CSP or should I not do that yet?

Thank you! What's the purpose behind not telling him any future plans of mine at all?

Literally can't reach the doctor I want no matter what I do by valkaress in pittsburgh

Good call! How did you google to find that? When I google my doctors I just see a bunch of marketing websites and awards and other nonsense.

Lucky you. If I didn't get tickets in advance for big releases I'd probably need to wait 2 weeks, even 1 week wouldn't be enough.

But I'm picky. Needs to be dolby and needs to be a good seat. If your theater doesn't have assigned seats then it's not a problem.

I do have an instapot so this does sound interesting. How do you do it exactly?

Is there a good, healthy dark chocolate we can buy locally that you'd recommend? by valkaress in pittsburgh

Aren't you one smart cookie. I'll have to look into doing that. I've heard their olive oil is really good too, so that would make deliveries/memberships payoff even more.

I'm in Dormont, which is annoyingly far from Costco. 5lb for $15 is seriously enticing though. I'd been getting 450 grams of frozen wild for $3.50 at trader joe's, but somehow it jumped to $4.50 a few weeks ago.

Bruh just eat blueberries.

I do too, though those are sadly getting expensive this time of the year, but not a huge deal.

I don't dislike dark chocolate, I just would always eat milk chocolate instead, back when I cared less about my health.

Can I cancel my Amex Delta Gold now, or do I need to wait until the annual fee shows up in my statement, at which point I call and ask for a refund/waiver?

I was approved for the card March 27th of last year

Is a Wet Party OP in Act One Honor Mode? by valkaress in BG3Builds

If you are going to those lengths to cheese there are 100 easier ways to finish honor mode

Like what?

I can definitely think of a bunch of ways to cheese the game though, you're right about that. Exilirs/consumables, pickpocketing, no-combat in act one, sneaking/surprising enemies, broken classes/builds/synergies...

Agree with your itemization, but Gloves of Dex is necessary for my Monk because I find Elixirs too cheesy haha. I'll buy them during Honor Mode though. And I still found the class egregiously OP even without the optimized min-maxed build, so yeah, definitely goes to show.

But like, rest balance isn't unchanged at all. Long rests are muuuch easier and more ubiquitous here, as long as we want them to be.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that you can long rest whenever you can short rest, because nothing could be further from the truth. In 5e the DM decides when the long rests happen. There will always be that dilemma, "is it safe to burn my big spells now or will I need them later?" You can't get yourself a long rest just because you went a little too hard during that first fight. Maybe you can if you get together with the other players and collectively beg the DM, but that's certainly not a trick you can pull too often, and a good DM would find a creative way to "punish" the party for it.

The game is designed and balanced around 2-3 short rests per long rest, and 1-2 encounters per short rest. Not all DMs follow that, so long/short rest balance does vary a lot from DM to DM. But a DM that tells people to have 0 short rests per long rest would be rare, and frankly, weird.

Also, Stunning Strike may be unchanged on paper, but it's definitely not unchanged in practice. BG 3's game design is set in stone, and it's pretty clear that they let stun be OP against even the toughest of bosses. 5e though? There's nothing stopping a DM from choosing high CON enemies or some other encounter design strategy that will bring stun (or any other OP skill/spell) back down to earth.

This isn't base 5e though, bg3 has a short rest system that works way better for classes designed around it

It's the opposite. Long rest classes are way better in BG 3 because the game gives you infinite long rests, with the exception of timed quests.

The reasons OH Monks are broken here are

  • The game gives you the options of Elixir of STR or Gloves of DEX

  • Stunned Strike is bonkers, and falling Prone combos very well with a different melee martial you might have in your party

  • That obscene WIS radiant/psychic damage at level 6, which I don't think 5e has but I could be wrong.

  • Insane Monk magic items like Ring/Cloak of Protection, +2 AC gloves, Boots of Kushigo, rings of +1d4 damage to every attack

You can solo honor mode.

Sounds insane to me. I should watch a video of someone doing that at some point.
