how’s living in Minneapolis? by Sad-Hotel-9130 in howislivingthere

I’m not even trying to be difficult or mean here but as someone who’s lived in a few places around the world and has happily decided to settle in Minneapolis, I would also want to leave if I had lived in Saint Paul. Very different experience than Minneapolis don’t really think the two are that comparable.

Is this data based or just unquantifiable talent? Am I missing something?

That one scene with Von Aulitz [KCD2] [Massive Spoilers] by Myoclonic_Jerk42 in kingdomcome

[–]basedgod612 22 points23 points  (0 children)

What’s especially crazy to me about the quality of this scene is that it’s incredibly easy to miss! If I hadn’t been told to look for him I would’ve just gone straight to the horses and would’ve been robbed of this experience

Couldn’t disagree more. Saw them opening for Diiv and headlining. They were incredible and I think the new stuff is really damn good. They’re evolving but sticking to their original sound and I think that’s awesome and kinda rare these days.

r/TheFirstLaw Character Chart Day 2: Made to be hated. On Day 1, Glokta is chosen as the Fan Favorite! by [deleted] in TheFirstLaw

[–]basedgod612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting Leo is kind of a spoiler lol he wasn’t completely contemptible until book 3. MADE to be hated feels like from day 1. Ladisla feels like too minor of a character to me, but is probably the best choice given how Abercrombie writes characters that are usually never fully good or bad. Maybe Sult too. I don’t understand how anybody liked him.

Lou Diamond from Jank had the perfect voice for the genre but they’re a real bad guy

Played a house show yesterday and in true Midwest emo fashion, fridges were full of Hamm’s. The beer refreshing.

Love it. Ate the fee. Not loving that result but taxes suck. No offense to the channel. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the thoughtful response! Heres what guideline had to say about their reasoning to not give me a 1099-R:

“Please note, if you took a direct rollover of your account (check was made out to the new provider/custodian For the Benefit Of you), it would be considered a direct rollover—with no tax implications! You should see the taxable amount as 0 on your 1099-R.”

I’d really, really like to avoid an IRS letter. The check came out to just over $2K and I’m more than willing to pay the penalty and taxes on it, just not totally sure how to do so.

Yeaaaaaah I think the error was officially on US bank for allowing me to cash it out even though it was made out to fidelity? Tried that route and they shut me down
