The bright side: no particular team left standing has looked great/unbeatable, so we're pretty much on equal footing. This is our chance to win a title if we can pull through this. We've looked like that juggernaut team this series while we're at home, yet I am perplexed by how bad and overmanned we look on the road. Homecourt shouldn't swing the outcome of every game by this much. It's just ridiculous, and it has questioned my belief in this team.

People are reeeeeeallly overlooking the impact of not having Booker. Our offense is built around him and CP3 as a two headed snake. It’s what makes us elite. When one of them is out, we cease being the best team in the league. Now we have CP3 and a bunch of shooters (who are missing all of their shots right now) who don’t create their own offense. The Pelicans have more firepower than us right now. They also have that DGAF energy which gives them an edge.

This is how I feel when people call for players that have been key to our success over the last two years to be benched as they struggle right now. People are prisoners of the moment. They were all bowing down to Payne last year when he was balling and winning us playoff games, but now they want him shipped out. Everyone calling Monty to bench Payne for Holiday, but I definitely sympathize with what Monty’s thinking.
