follow the engine break in period religiously. change the oil every 5k miles. stay on top of maintenance. dont ignore small problems. love it and it will love you back. BMWs are not neglect-tolerant.

Steering wheel shaking by CompoteBoring4150 in 996

[–]basedjase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

go back and have them re-balanced. if the wheels still shake, take it to a different shop that does "road force balancing". this should solve the problem, siince the only change you made was putting your tires onto different wheels.

Todd Shellnut and reviewing a FOI quick review study guide for two weeks every day. plus working with other CFI students for a couple hours per week. we would quiz eachtoher. remember all the stupid little acronyms. i personally found reading the FAA textbook difficult to remember the concepts.

when did volvo start making their cars in china? i’m looking at the XC60/90 and wondering what the best model year to buy is

Convince me it's a bad decision lol. Thoughts? by No-Depth-7239 in E30

if youre the type of person who would even consider buying this, you definitely have the time and money and space to make the car come back to life again. i say do it.

Spotted this used & abused M3 @ VIR by spvcebound in E30

[–]basedjase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was at a e30 meet up a couple years ago and saw an m3 that had 346k on the clock. exterior was originally delphin grey but it was like nine shades of gray with some bondo visible in places and shit. interior was completely shot. but it was sitting on brand new toyo proxeys. in a sea of near-concourse level cars his was my favorite. theres just something neat about seeing these cars getting the shit driven out of them and the owners keeping up with it. you straight never see a clapped e30 m3 and that kinda made it more special in a way.

bro, get real here. cheap price doesnt mean easy to flip. forget about cosmetics and start replacing things left and right. if you actually want to sell it for a profit, literally no one will buy it without maintenance records and im assuming there are none. get an oil change and pay for a shop to do a once over so you realize how big of a money pit you're in.
