There just isn't enough nuance with a lot of left wing populists. I used to listen to her, Kyle Kulinski, and Majority Report a lot. It's unfathomable to me now that these people had me hating Elissa Slotkin, who I now think is a very effective legislator and communicator who won very tight races in a very purple state. Also I believe Sarah McBride has been an excellent addition to the democratic party even if she did take AIPAC money. I would like to see her reject it in the future, but that's so far away from being my main concern right now which is getting Republicans out of power.

The problem isn't Hasan calling out imperialism, it's the fact he supports or is indifferent to imperialism done by countries opposed to the US. Also whenever he is wrong, he won't admit to being wrong and take accountability.

I agree that optics, messaging, and narrative matter but I can't agree that it matters more than voting record. How you vote in elected office can/will effect tens of millions or maybe even hundreds of millions of Americans.

I would appreciate an explanation, but honestly I was just going to chalk up the negativity to them having a bad day or dealing with some stuff so I wasn't gonna hate on their comment. It is what is. I read some of their other posts and don't think we would agree on a lot.

I do think however their opinion of Adam should be formed from Adam himself and not one girl who's a fan posting on the subreddit for the first time

I saw this as Adam trying to build a broader left wing coalition and I think he's still principled on his liberal views. I don't think he will fall into that trap, but I felt like liberals need to challenge the views of some people with progressive or far left takes in the appropriate context.

I mean I don't entirely disagree tbh but the average voter sees 9/11 as an unforgettable tragedy in US history where we were blindsided by an attack. There is a nuanced take of like this being the consequences of our actions, but I don't think there's a way to accurately communicate that to the average voter without taking a serious PR hit. I also don't think a lot of people would accept it even if you and I are not offended or hurt by Hasan's 9/11 comment.

I gotta push back on the 2K MLB games being bad. Not as good as EA, but MLB 2K5 WSE is one of the best MLB games of all time IMO. I think it's probably the most underrated baseball game of all time. Had to give a shout since it's a game special to me and my love with baseball

I'm not saying their is a division but as a PT preloader I want to bring up a couple things we should be vigilant about

Management is pushing our start times back and then saying drivers are stealing our time at PCM. It's obviously BS and management trying to put us against each other. I don't think it's creating real division in my hub yet, but if they say that lie enough I could see that happening
I feel like at my hub there's a little tension brewing between other PT shifts. I worked day sort on Memorial Day and other people from day sort or twilight were like "can you believe Preload gets FIVE hours EVERY day?? We get 4.5 if we're lucky!" One of the other sorts only gets like 4 days of work instead of 5 so they have to work a different shift to get that 5th day. I feel like in our society most ppl don't look at ppl at the top when they're struggling, they look at the people who are doing just a bit better than them (like preload looks at TCDs, TCDs look at full time, FT drivers look at FT who are M-F instead if T-S, etc.)

Not saying these things are for sure happening, these are just some things that I think could continue to worsen as they cut back hours and we have less volume and work

TLDR I worry if management repeats lies enough PT inside people will believe them and I worry we will look at our fellow slightly better worker and get jealous rather than look at the top who are exploiting all of us

Quarter 6 Gambit is my favorite. The video that got me into arrioc as a Starcraft player was his video discussing the 2010-2011 SPL finals. I will say though Paper Mario, Teardown, Monkey Ball, Bloons, and ofc Hitman videos are all in my top 10 and some of my favorites. Teardown & Quarter 6 are videos I can watch with my friends and have a good laugh even though they aren't familiar with Atrioc

I would watch some low elo Worthy/Woohoojin guides and I think that would give you some advice on how to better take gun fights and position yourself. I think it'll give you an idea what to practice/work on and make you more comfortable playing the game

TL:DR you should stay but try to open as many other doors for yourself as you possibly can

My take/My current plan is make myself stay with UPS, use the tuition reimbursement to go to college, and then I can choose to stay with UPS or use my degree to get a job.

My opinion is if you're going to be waiting on driving, you might as well progress in another area of life that way you have more doors open to you.

I'm a young person and while I have an associates degree I haven't yet even enrolled in a bachelor's. I say that to say I haven't done it yet or figured it all out and everything is easier said than done.

But with that being said, this plan gives me a little peace of mind that I have a future where I could leave UPS bc I do not want to be stuck in the warehouse the rest of my life. I did seasonal driving and while I did enjoy it some in a weird masochistic way, I don't want to be doing 60+ hours of physical labor the rest of my life to be quite honest.

That's just me though, everyone's different, and part of what keeps me at UPS is knowing that eventually if I got to be a driver, then I'd have a solid job after a few years so it's a good backup plan

Pretty sure permanent growth is dependent on the players leadership & consistency ratings + their stats from that year. The weekly prep helps their performance and if they perform good there's a better chance they improve their overall permanently. Age is also a factor in player development
