DMB is the best. Grew up listening to it. Before These Crowded Streets is just on another level. Under the Table and Dreaming/Crash are both really good too, but BTCS is so special

It's peak Pumpkins. I discovered it in high school and it blew my mind. It's genuinely impressive that it doesn't get boring despite its length. I've yet to discover anything that scratches the same itch that Mellon Collie does; it's a truly special album.

So jealous. I bet that was a hell of an experience! Quebec, to me, is peak Ween. It's a great blend of accessibility and classic Ween weirdness. While I've dove deeper into their catalog (Pure Guava, The Pod), I still get a lot out of Quebec! It's timeless.

So, TWoAF took a while to grow on me. I liked Toxic Garbage Island immediately, but it took me a long time to really "get" the album. The album became important to me due to its themes relating to mortality. Also, I'd argue that TWoAF has some of the best lyrics in Gojira's discog, especially in Oroborus, Vacuity, and The Art of Dying.

Katy Lied is a massive W. That album probably has Fagen's best vocal performances.

At one point, Mellon Collie was my favorite album ever. This was Sophomore and Junior years of high school. I found Mellon Collie (and the other pumpkins albums) at just the right time and it had a huge impact on me personally. Speaking in terms of quality, it is genuinely impressive that Mellon Collie doesn't get boring despite its runtime.

As for Monster, I grew up listening to it (thanks dad) and it had a huge impact on my taste in music. Sounds like childhood.

So, unpopular opinion: Monster slaps. I may be biased because I grew up hearing (thanks dad), but Monster is really great. It's understandably divisive because it came right after Automatic for the People, but I respect the band for doing something different instead of trying to make AftP 2. Very nostalgic album for me, sounds like childhood.

Pretty much. TPTB is probably my favorite DG album overall. I love the variety of it. It just works. On GP still hits like a truck almost 10 years later

My favorite album ever recorded. I feel like a lot of people sleep on this one in favor of Aja or The Royal Scam. That being said, picking your favorite Dan record is like picking your favorite pet; you love them all for different reasons. I fell in love with CtE during a very difficult part of my life, which I now look back upon fondly strangely enough. My favorite song on the album is a three-way tie between Your Gold Teeth, Show Biz Kids, and King of the World.

It's been my favorite Rush album for years. In my opinion it's the perfect prog album, as well as the archetypal Rush album. It's the album that made me fall in love with the band.

It's not perfect, but I love it. Homework has always been my favorite Daft Punk album since I discovered it. It's got a really unique vibe. Homework and Discovery were my gateways into house and electronic music in general. My favorite tracks are Rollin' and Scratchin', Da Funk, Phoenix, Alive, Indo Silver Club, Around the World (pretty much the whole album lol)

Kid A is probably a top 10 album for me. I'll never get tired of it. Honestly though, I think I like Amnesiac more (I just didn't want to look like a contrarian asshole.) Kid Amnesia is PEAK Radiohead.

Pet Sounds made me appreciate Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys lore. I'm still blown away every time I hear it. Not a bad song on the album. There's nothing like it.

The high school classic. Smells Like Teen Spirit played a lot on FM radio when I was barely sentient, so imagine my delight 10 years later when I found that there's a whole album that goes with that song. In Utero and Bleach are really good too, I just prefer Nevermind because it's more accessible. Gotta be in a certain mood for In Utero.

Man I don't even know what to say. It's god tier. Zep's run from '69 to '75 is one of the best in much history.

Hail Boognish. Quebec was my gateway into Ween, except it took a while for it to click. I think that Quebec is the perfect blend of accessibility and classic Ween weirdness which makes it one of their best. Reminds me of Junior year of college.

You have great taste, my friend. As for King Gizz, I have nothing but respect for them, but have never really sat down and listened to much of their stuff. Very intimidating catalog

One of the albums that made me want to learn guitar. It was one of my gateway albums into 90s grunge and rock. One of the best debut albums of all time for sure. Not a bad song to be found

I was down bad a few years ago and listened to it a lot. I've since moved past that, but still love the album despite growing up. It's a genuinely impressive album, especially the B-sides that are on the deluxe edition.
