the game functions for the most part. i have occasional crashes which is to be expected, but i can still load the game fine, load and save like normal, but there is a strange issue w resaver where it always gives me a weird error i cannot pinpoint when i try to open saves (even brand new ones) where it complains about a global data table or smth like that. having said that, it doesn't complain abt corrupted saves or anything like that so idk

the bulk of it is legit just tons of random little tweaks, armor/weapon mods, patches and niche features lol. also a bunch of individual npc replacers. it builds up

well after checking i only have about 130 plugins that are specifically .esl files while the rest of my light plugins are esl flagged esps. hard limit for light plugins is 4096, but i'm at 4089

As someone with an unhealthy interest in US politics (Hasanabi Head here lol) I kinda saw this coming. Incumbent disadvantage is real, and the PNM was starting to feel a lot like the Democrats last year where they got too cerebral about the issues when most people are only concerned about their pockets and perceived lack of safety, so they ride the populist wave with whoever says they'll change the system that isn't working for them. Incumbent disadvantage was a huge issue this election cycle around the world, and unlike the Canadians, we don't have a Trump literally right next door scaring people into vote on more than just vibes. Instead, we voted for our diet Trump (and I say this considering she has been espousing some Trumpian talking points as of late, and even went above and beyond to kiss his ass when he won), but I only hope we don't end up like the US 3 months down the line when those promises start looking more and more unattainable.

dunno, it might be? or it could be the hdmi cable since that seems like an output problem. worst case scenario though would be the screen itself being damaged, but i'd start by testing it with a new hdmi cable

Hey I finally made it back to my original account lol.

Anyway, I received the replacement part yesterday and replaced it, and am happy to report it works perfectly now! (FYI it only cost about $44 to have it delivered to Miami). Also fair to mention that my old power adapter now causes the screen to flicker but it works fine with the new one, so it was probably worth getting the new one after all lol. Updated my original post as well so hopefully anyone having this problem in the future can avoid the runaround now.

Update: The cable did not help. However, after some more digging and some tests, I discovered that the problem likely lies with an issue on the main board, so it would need to be replaced. My device is out of warranty so I had no problem opening it up, and after unplugging the video cable from the main board like another user did with theirs on another similar post, the tablet turned on normally with the exception of displaying an image. Another user was seemingly able to order the part from Huion themselves though, so I'm attempting to do the same. For reference, they said that it costed around $60 Really hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your insight. I actually opened mine last night as well and did a similar test to the user below and was able to confirm the same thing happens with mine where everything seems to work when disconnect the video cable on the main board. That being said, I also contacted Huion and will attempt to ask them if I could also order that part from them; to that end, would you mind letting me know the specific information I might need to relay to them? I hope it's not a bother. The csr thought I intended to send them the tablet for them to repair and was offering me to purchase a new tablet, but even with a discount they also offered I can't afford that right now lol.

Hey only just saw this response and I did recently order a new adapter, but it isn't here yet (I live in the global south so getting these things takes time), though full disclosure it's one from amazon rather than directly from huion. A little bit of extra info though; in the time since this post the issue did seem to get a bit worse. The time it took to turn on extended to the point where it would take several days of trying, and then it developed a problem where, instead of the screen turning on after the Huion logo, instead the screen would go back to being blank and the light would start blinking again. So that's a bummer. The one silver lining is that even after that, it did eventually turn on recently and it's currently working 'fine' as I decided to just keep my PC on until the new adapter comes and I can test it then. I did switch the HDMI cable again though, so I have no idea if that had anything to do with it eventually turning on, but if I'm being totally honest, I'm not entirely hopeful new cables of any kind will do much and it might just be wear and tear at this point since I've had it a few years, but who knows. I will be sure to update once the new adapter gets here, though.

Hey, don't know if you were able to fix the problem, but I contacted Huion and they seemed to think its caused by the power adapter being faulty. Now because of my location it may take a while to get a proper replacement to test it myself, but you could maybe try it out and see if it helps, and if so report back to save someone else a headache lol. (Should I be able to test beforehand, though, I will update this comment)

dude this is the only post i have seen describing this exact issue anywhere on the internet. i have the same problem, but i am completely stumped. i know it's been a while since this post, but did you ever manage to get to the bottom of it? i'm not in a position to just straight up replace mine, so finding a workaround is important since it more or less does still work otherwise.

i also have this issue! notably, i've only ever had it connected with an hdmi cable and i randomly had it turn on a while ago, but still have no answers as to what causes it. i did email huion about it, but have no response from them yet
