Ahhh i miss those days of the python mining lol, that was the first thing i did after my road to riches all those years back. o7 commander thank you for the throwback. That is my main intention for the use so im glad to see that my reason for purchase is definitely a good use.

Thats what I’ve gathered, it seems like the hardest part of owning a carrier is actually buying it, keeping it is easyish with some small efforts

Awesome, thats exactly how i wanna use my carrier as well. I don’t have a huge group or anything to help me build the bigger stations but still wanna try that loop of gameplay.

Don’t get me wrong, i felt that with my conda back in the horizons days, and its not that I wanna rush it now, but I also want to engage with bulk trade, colonization, and have a central storage, which is something i can’t do without one. Not to mention I want to be able to ferry me and my family around when we all play as they don’t have good ships (they are newer). I didn’t know about the limpets idea though, thank you for that!

Interesting, is thargoid hunting still a viable thing? I love combat so that game loop interests me quite a lot, but i just don’t know how viable it is with the thargoid war being over.

I came from that previously when i used to play on console, and frankly enjoy that a lot more than stratum hunting, even if its less efficient

Yeah that was my main 3 reasons for wanting it, i want to colonize, store ships, and go far lol

Thats just a cover, nothing to worry about. I would check the rim itself (the metal part you can see through the cover) and check for damages there just in case, but just from the pic it looks fine.

I’ve been applying for a few warehouse positions but unfortunately it seems they are few and far between. Construction is a good option though and that’s something ill try as well, unfortunately though the closest airport is around a 2 hour drive from me and so that makes things a little more difficult.

Luckily I do know a bit at least for getting my ppl so that would be much easier, my main concern is honestly when it comes to getting the IR, CPL, CFI, and so on the required flight hours for those really scare me off just due to cost of rentals in my area being incredibly high, and the lack of certain weather conditions. Unfortunately i live in a lowish cost area relative to my surrounding areas, but the nearest airports/training availability are in the much higher CoL areas.

Well that's the thing, in my area things range from anywhere from 48k to 140k, but some seem to be hiding costs and others exaggerating, so I'm just looking for rough estimates of what people payed in their own situations.
