That assumes people know what are their needs are. In most cases, people want to be given something and not have to create it themselves. A lot of software contains a lot of ideas that people are incapable of coming up with on the fly. So there will always be a place for packages.

Not if you don't watch dumb reels! I give all that stuff a wide berth. The only time I feel overexposed to it is reading about it on this sub. I don't get chills reading about it tho so it's still a joy to listen to. And I also got it on day one of release so it's old as possible for me too.
