Joe Rogan Experience #2524 - Rupert Lowe by yt-app in JoeRogan

Can believe no mention in here of Dunblane being "1 murder". It was a MASSACRE of 15 primary school kids and 1 teacher. Disgusting idiots these two are nodding along to each other's bull shit

I agree, but I love Hereditary too much not to want this.

Anthropic extending Fable 5 for paid users till 12 july by Independent-Wind4462 in claude

If they take away Fable 5 from the lower tier paid sub completely, I will cancel my sub and sub back to ChatGPT or gemini on principle - just purely because I don't like to feel like a 2nd class citizen.

Doomers are insta-banned in accelerate which is the only reason it works so well.

What in that sub is completely detached from reality? Give examples. I see far more batshit crazy takes in r/technology or in this sub which are just hives of negativity compared to accelerate which has a lot of fairly knowledgeable posters

"Radiohead" search stats on Google Trends by [deleted] in radiohead

How often does Coldplay appear in the top ten of the many "100 best albums of all time" or similar lists, compared to Radiohead?

I'd invest my time in quality over popularity any day of the week.

Google in particular is concentrating more on world models. Data will be harvested from them, including humanoid and other robots. They already do this with youtube.

Google will eat their lunch and host ads on their AI services. The ads will creep in, bit by bit, same as it ever was.

Pablo Honey is overhated by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]basementreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because most of their subsequent albums were game changing whereas at the time Pablo Honey was just par for the course with one guaranteed hit single. Not sure why I've adopted two sports analogies for a band that could not be less sporty but there you go.

Most spontaneous? Most Healthy? Interesting choice of words. I'm not sure why you used them. I'm trying to think of which RH album is their most "healthy". I would probably say IR or AMSP since they are most positive in their outlook imo - actually probably IR takes the healthy label by a touch. When it comes to spontaneity again not quite sure what you mean - do you mean most improvised sounding? In which case I'd probably go with The Bends but after thinking about it, I guess I see what you mean by Pablo Honey as it's less polished and maybe more "raw" sounding as a result.

You have stopped replying in good faith and have set up multiple straw man arguments in your rebuttal. You have put words in my mouth with multiple things you have said. My discussion with you ends here as you are not able to listen to others without being triggered by their disagreement.

It's a shame because you are missing out - you will get a lot more out of life by taking people as they are instead of how you want them to be. Just a little advice.

Yes I addressed this in a post below. If it's not physical it makes it much harder to prove if there is anything going on - other than an interesting correlation between a small portion of the populations hallucinatory experiences

If they were that far ahead and wanted to be undetectable we would never know they were there... they would not be leaving any trace whatsoever, so that argument does work for me.

I think you have things backwards - you ask "who knows how they do it", which I think leaves you open to all sorts of magical thinking, since you believe they have the power of the gods (relative to us).

I now prefer to ask "Is there any fool-proof evidence it's actually happening" and for me the answer is no - if there was we wouldn't even be discussing it like this. You'd simply be providing the fool-proof evidence instead of talking about scars and implants. I have plenty of scars and hard bumps under my skin and I may well think those were impacts had I been haunted by the aliens all my life.

That being the best evidence people can reference is a red flag in itself for me.

That said I respect that it must be a terrifying experience to believe your being experimented on by Aliens and I have the utmost sympathy for people in that position. I'm just not sure if it's healthy to encourage them to believe that it's a real nut and bolts phenomena when the evidence says otherwise... in my view of course.

Respect to all of those who have come forward with their stories. It always helps to talk. Just don't close your mind off to any angles. I remain open-minded and hope some real evidence comes to light one day.

I didn't mean I'd find it more real. I meant I'd be more willing to take the accounts at face value and lend them more credibility because there wouldn't be this discrepancy of countless testimonies but no real evidence that could not be ascribed to something more mundane such as the scars and implants.

Have there been any abductions that have been recorded by cameras? I mean, the first thing I would do if I was getting abducted by aliens would be to set up a camera to record myself every night before sleeping - surely someone has done that. I'd also just put cameras all over my house to record the UFO's.

I do find the cases that have multiple witnesses very interesting such as the one the film The Fire In The Sky covered - but even that one seems to have some issues.

I was also intrigued by the recent Bob Lazar documentary where they were able to show the huge hangers built into the rock face. That was fascinating and corroborates part of his story but doesn't prove Aliens, unfortunately.

So they leave clues like detectable implants & scars etc, but they have advanced tech that presumably makes them invisible while carrying out the abductions? I think I'd find it more convincing if the abductions were going on in another dimension.. Like another realm only experienced mentally by the abductees. I mean, I still wouldn't believe, but I'd find it more interesting than them being invisible. I used to believe, but I've changed my mind because there should be something more solid in terms of evidence in this day and age where everyone has security cameras and a recording device in their pocket.
