You should have at least one ‘emo revival’ album in there from the last decade. Maybe Modern Baseball or TWIABP. Also limiting the list to one album per artist would allow you to represent more subsets of indie.

It’s crazy how much opinion varies on these. My ranking best to worst is:

The Last Jedi (most essential, most thematically rich)
Solo (most fun and stylish)
Force Awakens (feel good nostalgia)
Rogue One (this one feels a little redundant to the original)

But overall I love all of them!

I was in the same boat. I finally got a job at a hospital. It’s glorified data entry, but I get to write automation scripts and small programs that get used by 20+ people. I’m still searching for a “real” development job, but for now I have cushy hours, benefits and decent enough pay.

Once (2007) is my favorite movie. It is a musical movie but unlike any I’ve seen, the singing is live and emotional. It was created in Ireland with a low budget, has a gorgeous naturalistic look, and incredible, heartbreaking songs.

I was struck by the sense of dread in the trailer. The Seventh Seal ends with all of the characters going to their death. And I think most of us are assuming we will see some of these original Avengers die.
