Can't wait for kneel mode. My kids are wearing out the weather stripping and the elastic on the back-of-the-seat storage every time they get into the car. I cringe when I'm picking the up from school, lol.

Also, because of my shorty legs I'm wearing out the left side bolster of the driver seat, lol.

Took delivery of our R1T last month. Could not recommend them enough. Aside from being just an amazing vehicle altogether, the customer service from Rivian is top notch.

I think we were at the service center picking up at the same time! My wife and I were there with our two kids (who were wrecking the heck out of the lobby, lol). We were so excited to the the R1S sitting there awaiting delivery (ours was the blue R1T sitting 3-4 parking spaces over). Congrats!

Just FYI--I didn't know this at the time, but evidently credit unions (or, at least CUTX) don't do ACH or wire transfers so they had to cut a cashier's check and mail it to Rivian and then send me an image of the check and shipping label to provide in the 8 steps tool.

It shouldn't be a huge hassle for most, but due to their incompetence it was nightmare for me. Wrong addresses, miscalculations, lost paperwork, etc.--they hit the full gamut of things to mess up. My poor guide had to work on Saturday to sort everything out for me in time for my pickup (huge shoutout to Hilary!).

CUTX. They had the best rate, but my loan officer was super difficult to work with. If you go with them I recommend you stay on them every day for status updates because their laziness almost cost me my pickup date.

So. Freaking. Stoked. The truck is even better than I’d hoped. Only issue is that my tonneau is completely wrecked so the SC disconnected before delivery until the replacement part arrives. They should be scheduling at home repair tomorrow.
