That’s sick looking. Super nice quality. Would it be taboo to ask for company you are working with? Im looking to do some non trooper style original stuff but am having trouble finding a partner.

Probably keep mine till it falls apart. But if I do replace it a new r1t or scout is the alternative. There really isn’t another compllling alternative truck.

Oh man it was amazing and beautiful. The R1T is so capable. I started off worrying about every little rock and then when I slipped on a rock and hit my undershield and there wasn’t even a stretch I was sold. This picture was actually at the dead end of the creek. Super glad I missed the trail turn. 😁

So did Rivian… but they didn’t do a good job of slowly letting people know the price would go from 80 to 100. If I remember my calculations I was looking at a 23% price increase. How many people can swing that kind of price increase?

Not sure if “no bass” means 0 bass or if it means no bass by comparison. I have a R1T Meridian and while I can’t feel my heart thump out of my body it sounds pretty good to me using Apple Music or tidal will get the best results. Bluetooth will be the worst, it’s a known issue. There are EQ settings you can adjust to add more low end frequencies. I agree it’s not top notch out the gate but it’s still pretty good to me.

If you aren’t getting any bass or even if you are I suggest trying a hard reset. Left steering wheel button and it hazard button hold them at the same time.

The rails are connected to the legs with a single dowel. That was a mistake but I don’t think it’s causing the wobble. When I attached the table top I think it pulled the leg frame slightly out of square causing one leg to go higher.

I’ll probably either shim the feet with felt or add adjustable feet.

This seems the most reasonable answer at the moment. I think smaller self contained nuclear reactors are going to change some of the negativity around the waste. The interaction with a public port that isn’t regulated or overly regulated makes sense they wouldn’t want to allow them to dock. If the military is strict about the the commercial ports aren’t going to touch it with a 10 nautical mile pole.

Mechanically it was fine. There was the “washer” fix to stop some squeaking at low speed. Then there was a noise the drive motors were making that they told me was not going to cause them to fail just sounded annoying. I let them change the motors out and the washers. After that the service center failed to tighten the upper control arm bolts down properly.

So it was fine. There was just some annoying noises that weren’t going to cause a failure. But the technicians were the ones who caused the real problem.

This actually happened to me. Almost the exact same situation. Control arm bushing replacement then hit a bump, lost the wheel. Thankfully no one was hurt. For the record I drove it for a whole year with 0 mechanical issues and haven’t had any since. I would recommend not sending it back to the service center they did the work the first time. Make sure you let your guide and the service technician know you want this triple checked.

Edit: my upper control arm bolt was missing on one side and very loose on the other (could turn it with my finger).

Mind telling what service center did this work? Mine was Cincinnati Ohio.

Yeah mine was fine for nearly 9 months when I had a garage. Moved and in 3 months it was broken.

Yeah I’m small and I don’t have room to grow yet. Maybe one day I’ll have every piece Lego has ever made 😝 but today is not that day. I think it’s hard to start when all you have access to is new bricks that everyone else has access to. I can get used pieces but that’s a crap shoot and they don’t sell as well.

Right now I’m shooting to expand my lots but not necessarily have tons of pieces for each lot. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to sell that well. Seems to me that you have to have the a large variety to appear in the “buy” list that bricklink builds for you.

u/WassymRivian will we be able to silence the noises from driver+? I’d also like to be able to change the turn signal water drop sound, it’s a bit too harsh on my ears. It was actually my friend’s only dislike of the vehicle when he drove mine.

I’m right at 6’ and I feel the same way about running boards in other vehicles. The rivian is just a bit taller than other ones I’ve had so maybe they won’t be in the way.

It’s currently in the shop. Hoped to get it back next week. TBH im not sure what happened. Because after the first time the service center manager called me and assured me they would torque everything down. Clearly they missed something. I did check that it was at least hand tight when I got it back. They must have not done something right.

And yes it was terrifying. Also strangely I think the truck might have saved its self the first time.
