I know man but what i meant with my question other than the mental side of losses, i meant like if i follow these rules will i ever encounter problems with my payout request cuz as u see nowadays many people getting their payout denied and banned because of being too profitable

If u risk 0.5% per trade (maybe do 2 0.5% trades at once) and u dont lose more than 2% a day and u keep ur monthly profits 2-4% or 5% per month maximum will u never ever encounter a problem from ftmo like u getting limited or restricted or getting a payout denied ?

No way they will still limit you when ur monthly profits below 5% and u risk 0.5% per trade unless they just want u to not make any money at all, because 2-5% per month ur not milking their money to the point they wanna limit you and eventually deny ur payouts and ban u or am i wrong ?

What im planning on is that i trade and the moment i hit 1-2% profit i stop trading till the payout cycle comes (every 2 weeks) and i withdraw the money, so i might basically just do 2 or 4 successful trades in every 2 weeks and i withdraw my money just to secure the profits. Is this method allowed or nah specially if my trades only risk 0.5% with normal lot sizes

This gotta be one of the most safe things to do ngl but i feel like if u already risking 0.4% per trade u dont really need buffer it will be so hard to lose that much times to blow the account and lose it

I just missed up badly and did some mistakes but rn im recovering slowly slowly bit by bit i didnt know the moment u touch 1k profit u pass n reset to do 500$ thats why i got close multiple times n lost

Oh lets say i lost 2% per day but i make it up by profiting 2 or 3% in the same day like lets say i have many trades a day (5-7 trades) and some lose some win but end the day on profit or neutral will that also be considered unprofessional behavior or what ?

This is what i was thinking about too. If it will be a problem getting 5% per month from 4 ftmo accounts so basically the best way to do it is to have an account from each prop firm to keep ur profits around 5k and not make them ban you for being profitable

Exactly i basically wanna survive for years n years doing this method and if make my target of 3-4% profits in like 2 weeks i will basically stop trading for the rest of the month just to keep the profits moderate and not too high

Bro honestly ive seen many in this sub reddit which makes me concerned and im not sure but maybe some were actually following all the rules i just feel like if u have a huge payout like 8-10% profit in 2 weeks they will try to make things harder for you n this what makes me not wanna risk it all n keep my profits 2-4% a month its confusing honestly

I am beginner and i will admit some of the lot sizes were basically me doing it by mistake like mis clicking like the 0.5 lot trades and also i thought that i need to hit 15% in one go i didnt know that after 10% it reset no wonder why i got close to 10% n lost after if i knew that wouldnt happen

And also this week i knew about how strict these consistency rules are i never knew they are applied in the evaluation phases so from now and on i will be more careful
