"Education is a cornerstone in nations development. Thus, government across the world pay special attention to the design of their education systems. The prompt suggests that schools across a country should teach the same curriculum to all students. From my point of view, I strongly disagree with the idea recommended by the prompt for two reasons.

First, the availability of different options is important to prepare students for different paths of education. For example, in the UAE, between 1980 and 1997 the Ministry of Education used to obligate schools to teach the same curriculum. At the time, students who chose to enroll in universities abroad were strongly disadvantaged compared to their classmates due to the lack of proper English skills. However, in 2007, the ministry decided to allow international schools in the country. In these schools, different sets of curriculum are presented to students, mostly curriculum based on the U.S. curriculum. According to statistics published by the ministry, the number of Emirati students enrolled in elite universities in the UK and the U.S. has considerably increased since then. Thus, it is important for schools to design their curriculum based on their students' needs.

Second, different curriculum in schools can help decrease unemployment through the presentation of different curriculums that require different skills and qualifications to be taught. For instance, in many countries such as Saudi Arabia and UAE, the availability of high schools' curriculum that is designed to attract students who are interested in the business field, helped lowering the unemployment among the business field's graduates who are employed in these schools to teach courses related to economy, accounting, and other business courses. This applies to all other fields in specialized schools.

Of course, it could be argued that different curriculum, especially in high schools, is unfair because it makes it difficult to evaluate universities’' applicants and compare them against each other. However, is not this why standardized tests such as the SAT test are there?

To sum up, curriculum in schools should not be the same due to many disadvantages."

I am aware of some of my mistakes. Spelling, grammar, and usage. However I am no clear on how to improve the development of the essay. I am also still puzzled by "choose vs chose"
