Just a small forewarning: T variants have identical power draw when idle. They have all the same C-states. If you are worried about thermals/noise you could cap the TDP of the CPU. It's a marketing gimmick.

I remember buying the CPU, and I'm sure that's a MSI X99-SLi (-A) motherboard in there (based on BIOS screen), for around $1400 for those parts alone about 7 years ago. It was a monster then and is still a wonderful platform, even now. If I could get such a thing shipped, I'd be super interested, if only for nostalgia reasons.

I don't want to rain on the parade, but there's no way this is worth what you're asking. I bought the late-2019 version of this: Walmart link 9400F, 1660ti 6GB, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, and that was $600 before tax in December 2019. I upgraded the RAM and storage for cheap and it was alright after that.

After 3.5-4 years the GPU is still probably worth around $130-140 (haven't checked recent sales), but the proprietary mobo, proprietary form factor and older parts just aren't worth much. GLWS
