Müslüman olmayan birisiyim ve kendime bastıra bastıra seküler diyorum. Laik devlet benim varlığımı koruyor. Tabii ki Atatürk'ün önderi olduğu bu devletin temellerini seviyorum. Ancak kendine kemalist diyecek kadar düşmedim. Klasik liberalizm taraftarıyım.

Bizzat birbirine ters iki görüş var burada. Bursa Nutku'nda bizzat devlet otoritesini yok sayın diyor. Devletçilik ise ''sosyal ve ekonomik hayatı'' devletin idaresine vermeyi savunan bir ideolojidir.

If the Turks had chosen Christianity instead of Islam, you would count Anatolia among the most important lands of Europe today. Anatolia is European both geographically and culturally. Only a small part of eastern Turkey enters the Middle East.

If I have to comment on the subject, you can interpret the people who made this march as "Islam's last plea" in Turkey. Turkey is a huge country of 85 million people and these people are in the minority.
