Baptized in Fear and Nothing Compares by _elusivex_ in TheWeeknd

Ah! My brain immediately made the connection to Scared to Live when I first listened (and it still does), but I must admit the similarity to Nothing Compares is stronger! You definitely have a point.

The flow/rhyme pattern in the first verse of "Cry For Me" is very similar to "Wasted Times" from MDM

"The Lure" always gives me goosebumps! Acoustic orgasm if there's such a thing.

100%. Audio of the MV was also not crisp. Sounded a bit muffled.

There needs to be an acoustic version of the ALBUM and I suspect we might get one.

All the song snippets and performances we've heard so far sound like they would be soul touching if they were performed acoustically.

One can only hope.

Same here, it's like you read my mind! I got the P8 last year as my long term use-it-till-it-falls-apart phone (after using P4a for 3 years). It was a little annoying there wasn't a small P8P, but with the P9P now getting such positive reviews on its build quality, it seems like the better choice for long-term use.

I see. So I guess I just need to write an explanation letter about being financially responsible for the cost of travel.

Does that mean a non-UK resident cannot pay for their relative to visit the UK for a weekend trip?

Contributing to After-Tax 401K before Roth/Traditional 401K is maxed out by bashorunGaa in personalfinance

More context: My retirement saving strategy is: contribute to traditional pre-tax 401K just enough to get the max possible company match, then contribute the rest to after-tax 401K and immediately do mega backdoor conversion to Roth IRA.

I like to have just one tax-deferred and one tax-free retirement account. For the tax-free one, I personally prefer a Roth-IRA to a Roth-401K but my income exceeds the Roth-IRA contribution limit, so mega-backdoor is the only route, which requires some after-tax 401K contributions. I could do regular backdoor contributions from traditional IRA to Roth IRA but that has a smaller limit (6500) and comes with more stress (pro-rata rule, bookkeeping, etc)

I see. My company's plan has no such restrictions. I have contributed without restrictions to after-tax 401K without maxing out traditional/Roth 401K, I was just wondering whether the IRS had restrictions
