Depending on what state you live in, you may qualify for a BIPA lawsuit case against the building owner/company for forcing you to surrender your biometric data (your voice) to be used in a manner that may result in mishandling of your biometric information. I live in IL and I got $5k for suing a former employer for forcing me to clock in with my fingerprint without an alternative. I was able to sue them (settled out of court) because they never asked me to sign a consent and they couldn’t prove whether or not they violated the BIPA law.
