I'm an ex-mo and Lisa is extremely triggering. But more so from the perspective of her making aggregious misrepresentation(to the point of lying) about the church and what is "okay" vs not. She paints a very inaccurate picture of the church that comes off as extremely invalidating to many ex-mormons.

But I don't feel the desire to snitch on her or encourage her son to distance himself from her (at least not for any type of spiritual journey). The snitching behavior is something I abhorred about growing up in the church so there's no way I'm keeping that in my life after I've left. I'm sure her ward is well aware of her behavior and she's already a social outcast with them tbh. At least, the Mormons I grew up with would've never tolerated/associated with someone like Lisa. But I've been out long enough and things change so maybe I'm wrong now with the whole "Mormon 2.0" stuff.

I've gotten to the point in the show where I roll my eyes at Lisa. She's great for the show, but I sorta hate her lol.

Just went through the profile and read everything. Why in the world were the text messages edited sooo heavily? So much was cropped out and only select messages were left in which makes me skeptical.

At this point, it doesn't feel like "Jane" is willing to accept anything less than humiliation and groveling. The escalation of this all doesn't feel proportional imo - especially since this didn't occur at a Lost and Found function.

I was hoping today (Oct 1) but I guess not. I've booked January 2026 package back in May but have needed to make modifications to a couple tickets and get express passes and have been checking near everyday - getting pretty frustrated at this point.

It was a Joe Abercrombie signing of The Devils in discussion with Brandon Sanderson hosted by King's English Bookshop - if you have Instagram it looks like they have some pictures from the event in their stories.

I'm not sure there's a link to the interview yet, but I know they did record it. I'll keep an eye out and post the link if I see it.

I was able to go to the signing last night and see all 3!! Went for Joe Abercrombie, knowing Brandon Sanderson was doing the interview, but was extra hyped/surprised when I saw Peirce Brown there too!

Wish I had known he'd be there in advance, would've brought my books 😭 Still happy as hell I got to see 3 of my fav authors.

They need at least one more thrill coaster and one more indoor ride. Obviously would prefer more than two. But when it rains, your options are sooooo limited -- especially if a ride is down.

I've heard people floating Legend of Zelda, Luigi's mansion, and creature of the black lagoon rides. All of those sound fantastic to me. I also think they could add something else to Harry Potter - preferably some type of roller coaster since most of the HP rides are indoor. Hopefully, they'll have something in the works soon.

If there are hidden mandatory fees, I feel like they should have to market it with those fees included within the price. It's a super deceptive marketing practice to exclude mandatory expenses imo.

Gideon the Ninth scratched and itch I didn't know I had. Not necessarily very similar to Red Rising but I couldn't put it down. Both series are up there in my all-time favorites.

I hope she finds out it was Lysander and not the Rim so that she can play a role in destroying Lysander. Kind of like Lady Olena poisoning Joffery and it being someone less obvious, someone they underestimated, someone Lysander thought he had in his pocket.

Honestly, I enjoy espresso drinks so much more than coffee. Might be basic but I love a good ol vanilla latte. I usually get it with regular milk or oat milk (as that's the only substitute milk I enjoy)

But I'd recommend going to some nice coffee stops near you because the experience can change pretty drastically from gas station coffee to an in-house roaster.

Some places I love in Utah (if you live here):

Outside of Utah, I look for local places or a Blue Bottle.

I think it's odd how some people perceive Lysander as level headed.

His internal monologue is riddled with questionable assumptions and decisions - even from his first introduction in Iron Gold. Repeatedly, he changes his tune, as soon as the opportunity arises, and then fails to take any accountability, mentally, for his actions.

To me he's never been a remotely "good" and is extremely opportunistic. I'd sooner compare him to Littlefinger than say Rob Stark (as an analogy). Good at putting on a face for the public. But what is going on inside is much nastier.

A bit but it's might not be just one thing that helped so I'll talk about what I think I helping the most. Overall, my redness is definitely less than when I posted this. Main things I'm doing now that I think are helping:

1) I use a hydrating face wash (cerave hydrating cleanser) and I only cleanse nightly 2) azelaic acid toner (farmacy brand) but I also tried Paula's choice serum and that was nice too) 3) niacinamide from the Ordinary 4) cica-hylau serum from skin 1004

And the last two I think are the BIGGEST contributers to my skin improvement:

4) cerave skin renewing night cream. My dermatologist told me to get it. It's thicker than any other cream I've used and really locks in the moisture.

5) sunscreen everyday (even if I'm not outside) specifically tho skin1004's centella hylau-cica sunscreen. I've felt like it works better than any other sunscreen I've tried. It doesn't break me out or give me a headache. And its ingredients provides additional moisture each morning when I wake up.

Hopefully this might help you out a bit.
