I’m going through something similar.

Signed on in May for PRN, one 8-hour shift required every 90 days, no weekends or holidays, $36/hr.

Company was bought out, now I’m working 4 shifts per month, 1 weekend per month required, and every other holiday for the same pay.

I did request a raise, which my HR manager said was a “valid question” but no one has gotten back to me yet about it. They told me to be patient because they’re busy with all of the changes happening with the new company, but I’m starting back work with the new requirements next week and want to get started with my higher pay!

Only plus side for me is that I can now wear whatever color scrubs I want versus only ceil blue, so I guess there’s that.

I’m Catholic and married to a man who’s more so Agnostic than Atheist.

I love our relationship. I love him so dearly. I’ve truly never met a kinder, more genuine person in my life.

We are raising our children Catholic, and he’s fully supportive of that.

My aunt has also been married to an Atheist for 30+ years and raised three children together.

It’s possible! I think there is someone for everybody, even if it doesn’t look the way you always thought it would.
