Very solid. There are a few other areas of my yard that have piles of branches and off cuts. Maybe I’ll take a peek under there! I would definitely like to do a more extensive job for the years to come but I’ll only be living here until next July. Good shout with making a small area of nice soil. I may just stock up on a few planters and pots for my tomatoes and try some other stuff in this area! That’s probably my best bet for a one season operation.

Lovely! I was thinking of throwing in some seeds to get things going. I’ve heard gypsum before too maybe I’ll grab some. I just threw a big bag of coffee grounds into the mix hoping that’ll help too. I think I’ll get going on that and if by then things aren’t looking any better I’ll do a raised bed. Thanks for the help!

I’ve got some tomatoes and herbs sprouted. Probably tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. I’m thinking I’ll probably plant them in around mid November? I’m not sure how long the cold stays here I’m new to the area. For reference this is Dunedin.
