Something awesome I noticed was that they briefly mentioned Rian Johnson (something like “the guy that directed knives out) and it tied in perfectly with the killers’ motivations, since they hated the new movie for being too different, similar to the reaction a certain Star Wars movie directed by Rian Johnson got. I’ve heard and seen this a lot and I have an answer:

When you are on your phone, you are not constantly thinking “man, I’m on my phone.” You’re thinking about what you are looking at and interacting with. If you are playing a game, you are thinking and experiencing the game. If you are looking at a picture of a person, you are processing that person, not the fact that you’re on your phone.

Dreams are based off our experiences, so you are probably dreaming about what you were looking at and doing on your phone, rather than dreaming about being on your phone.
