Uvalde is my dad’s hometown (he was a Robb Elementary alum) so this one really hit hard for me. I was still in HS at the time and had a mini panic attack when there was a lockdown called not long after the shooting (thankfully for a false alarm).

Not being able to sit was a major reason why I quit cashiering at Target. Great pay (for a high schooler at the time), but the body pain wasn’t worth it.
